 CENTER FOR HOPE HOSPICE – Linden, NJ
The ALS Team welcomed staff members from Center for Hope Hospice at its monthly meeting on October 21, 1999.  A spokesperson for the Center, has provided the following information for ALS News of New Jersey.
Center for Hope is a free-standing hospice located in Linden, NJ.  Terminally ill patients are admitted under hospice guidelines, and palliative care is provided by professional staff trained in end-of-life issues.  Hospice services include medical, nursing, psycho-social counseling, and spiritual care to patients and family members.
The Center brings to its patients a caring quality of life that actively supports the individual’s right to live out the remainder of his or her life with dignity and comfort.  It is committed to providing residents and families with the opportunity to discover and embrace the gift of life as they journey through periods of significant loss.  All terminally ill patients, their families, and loved ones are welcomed without concerns for race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, or ability to pay.
