PUBLIC WORKSTATIONS

There are 52 workstations available for Library patrons’ use. 48 are on the Main level and 4 are on the C level. All workstations are running on Windows XP except the 4 workstations on Row H of the main level that are running on Mac OSX operation system.

Workstations on Row A and Row C are for public users. Reference staff will log onto those computers using a unique user ID and password. All other computers are for UMDNJ users and will be authenticated via UMDNJ CORE account user ID and password.

The Media Center’s User Support Specialists are responsible for all public workstation and staff workstation technical support.

NETWORKED PHAROS PRINTER

All workstations are connected to the Pharos Printer workstation A, B, and C. Printer workstation A and B are for the Main level and Printer workstation C is for C level. Each workstation has a label to direct user to certain printers.

Printing is not free. Patrons should purchase a printing/copy card at the Circulation Desk.
