Medical Informatics is the scientific field that studies the development, implementation and evaluation of biomedical solutions for optimal decision making and information sharing. The field involves all biomedical areas.

Electives at the undergraduate and graduate levels are available.

Projects:

  • Rapid Risk Analysis
  • Electronic Medical Record Referencing (Public Access to Prototype)
  • Colorectal Cancer Screening
  • Diabetes Control
  • Patient Education

Electives:
