dash board or overview of several patient care issues.
This first page presents an identification
of assigned providers, barriers to education, annual care
indicators, and cardiovascular risk data.

- UMD Care Regular Attending - Identifies name of attending
at UMD Care who cares for this patient. If blank or a date
only then there is no attending listed.
- UMD Care Regular Resident - Identifies name of resident
at UMD Care who cares for this patient. If blank or a date
only then there is no resident listed.
- Barriers and Preferred Language - Displays past barriers
to education and language preference that last provider documenting
patient education has signed off upon.
- 10 Year CHD Risk (ATP3) - Displays the coronary heart
disease risk for the next 10 years calculated from the Adult
Treatment Panel 3 Report of the Cholesterol Education Program
of the National Institutes of Health.
- Adult Treatment Panel 3 Lipids Section - Displays
number of cardiac risks or presence of coronary heart disease
equivalents, last LDL (primary treatment goal of ATP3) and
the goal LDL according to ATP3.
- Joint National Committee (JNC) 6 Hypertension - Displays
information related to the Hypertension Education program
of the Hypertension Education Program of the National Institutes
of Health. Note that system screens for some of the risk factors
related to decision about goal blood pressure and displays
its analysis.
- Tobacco Status - Displays last signed tobacco use
status (current, prev., or never). This is a major risk factor
for several disease itself, but is factor in determining CHD
risk under ATP3.
- Annual Prevention Examination Sections - are used
to assist providers in tracking the year prevention examination
dates, as well as it presents some suggestions about the contents
of that examination.
