Qualifying Education Loans

LRP offers redemption of up to $120,000 over a four-year period of service for eligible qualifying education loans. Qualifying loans are the cumulative outstanding balance of educational loans for medical, dental or other health professional education at the time service obligation begins.

Examples of loans that qualify include but are not limited to the following: Federally Insured Student Loans (FISL), Perkins loans, PLUS (student loans), Supplemental Loan for Students (SLS), Health Professions Student Loan (HPSL), Health Education Assistance Loan (HEAL), New Jersey College Loan to Assist State Students (NJCLASS), other State loans, other Federal loans.

Please note: Loans incurred for undergraduate education are not eligible for redemption.
