The George F. Smith Library of the Health Sciences has introduced the Clinical Librarian Service for the growing information needs of health professionals who cannot easily leave their units, clinics or health centers within the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. The Library recognizes that delivery of health care continues to change as health information resources are becoming more accessible.
The Clinical Librarian Service strives to:
  • Deliver services to the expanding UMDNJ ambulatory care sites throughout the State.
  • Provide on-site support and advanced instruction to support "evidence-based" health care
  • Provide on-site instruction and support to clinicians and support staff who cannot leave their clinic or unit during rounds
  • Individual or group instruction activities may be requested for database searching, electronic resources, or library orientation
  • For more information on the Clinical Librarian Program please contact Lynn Baltimore (973)972-9543, .
