Nursing Faculty Point-of-Care Tools Trial

The Newark campus of the UMDNJ Libraries has arranged for the evaluation of PEPID point-of-care resources for the UMDNJ nursing faculty community. Though faculty may wish to evaluate the PEPID tools specifically pertaining to nursing and its specialties (i.e. PEPID RN, PEPID RN+ONS), the entire PEPID suite of resources will be available (e.g. PEPID CRC or Clinical Rotation Companion). You may trial each product once either using the link to access each PEPID suite Online and/or via PDA. We invite UMDNJ nursing faculty (and students if faculty wish) to visit any or the entire point-of-care tool links below as a clinical practice companion. This trial period is set from December 15, 2004 to February 15, 2005. A repeat trial of PDA and/or Web PEPID suites is being considered for early Spring '05 and would focus on the UMDNJ clinical nursing student community.

PEPID Online Suites - This link will take you to a special UMDNJ trial page where you can click on one of six PEPID suites, including PEPID RN, PEPID RN+ONS and PEPID CRC. Type provided User name and Password to gain access.

PDA PEPID Suites - This link will take you to a page where you can access the same six suites offered online above, plus a separate suite of PDC; PEPID's Portable Drug Companion (same drug database in all specialty PEPID suites including PEPID RN) for PDA download evaluation.

After using any or the entire PEPID product suites please take a few minutes to complete a short evaluation form. Your input will be used to evaluate interest in these tools, product match for your intended interest, and provide feedback that may impact future PDA and/or online nursing product development.
