Electronic Resources Databases Electronic Books, and Journals

All of the electronic resources of the UMDNJ - University Libraries are available from both on and off campus locations.

See below for Off-Campus Access to Library Resources for information about how to connect from an offsite location. Electronic resources are available at any Smith Library computer workstation.

Users must be registered with the UMDNJ - University Libraries in order to have off-campus access to e-resources. All UMDNJ faculty, students, and staff are eligible to register for library access.

Databases

The UMDNJ - University Libraries provides access to 75+ subject databases. Additionally, users will find links to full-text articles in many databases. The home page provides access to an alphabetic list of databases and a brief description of subject coverage.

Electronic Books

The UMDNJ - University Libraries subscribe to over 400 full text electronic textbooks. The e-books are licensed from a variety of sources and may have varied search interfaces. Contact Information & Education Services staff for more information on searching these resources. Click for author, title, and subject lists, or e-books.
