Welcome to AST Research Support Services
The Research Support team at UMDNJ is a collaboration between Academic Services and Technologies (AST) within IST and the Informatics Institute. The mission of this joint venture is to provide support for the many various complex scientific computing applications and complex high performance storage and computing needs of today's academic researcher. The technologies involved are highly dynamic and constantly evolving. The research support team has the challenging role of keeping abreast of these technologies along with maintenance of hardware and software. In addition, the research support team provides training to UMDNJ faculty/staff either in the form of workshops/tutorials or on an individual basis. Research support scientists will provide consultation on research projects and, on a more limited basis, collaboration.
