5- Digit Dialing Interruption of Service
UMDNJ 5- Digit Dial Maintenance Schedule > Go
In preparation for the deployment of a new Unified Communications and Voice- Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone system throughout the University, Verizon must perform maintenance on the 5 digit dialing system in Newark.
This maintenance will be performed on a nightly basis between the hours of 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM, Monday- Friday, beginning Tuesday, July 24, 2012 and ending on August 23, 2012 with the exception of Public Safety. 973-972-4490 and 4491 will be converted on July 24th between the hours of 6:30 and 7:30 AM.
