IST for Internal Audiences
The internal ISTwebsite serves up information meant for the UMDNJ community using the ISTchannel on the administrative tab in the my.umdnj.edu portal. Connectivity & service information, operative policies/standards, our newsletter, and user support guidelines are all available from the internal site. Much of the content will no longer be available via the Internet site, so you will want to eliminate any old bookmarks or references.
IST for External Audiences
istweb.umdnj.edu , the Internet version of ISTweb, will continue to operate but it will only convey information for our external audience.
UMDNJ Google Search
The newly released UMDNJ Google search appliance continuously searches all supported UMDNJ web pages. Community members will now see distinct UMDNJ Google and Internet Google options displayed in a drop down menu on the portal and the University home page. By clicking the UMDNJ Google option, users will query only pages within the UMDNJ domain. By clicking on the Internet Google option, users will query the entire universe of Internet Resources.
