Approved
Once a protocol receives approval, research may be conducted, including the recruitment and enrollment of human subjects. Approval letters provide an effective date for research to commence as well as the date of expiration of IRB approval and are accompanied by date stamped documents approved with the protocol such as informed consents, survey materials, and advertisements.*
*Protocols approved for exemption have no expiration date. |
