The Behavioral Research & Training
Institute is a non-profit,
interdisciplinary research and consulting service of the University of
Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey that helps businesses, schools,
healthcare institutions, human service agencies, foundations and other
organizations develop and access quality mental health services.
The Institute conducts clinical and community
research aimed at preventing and treating child and adult mental health
problems. These problems include school and community based prevention
studies, improving access to and quality of patient care, and treatment
outcomes. The research program is structured to facilitate rapid dissemination
