The Learning Institute

Teaching best Practices to Promote Student's Social/Emotional Development & Academic Success

ops@cmhc.umdnj.edu
The Office of Prevention Services & Research (OPSR) has offered the workshops, courses, and related training activities that comprise The Learning Institute for over a decade. During this time, our mission has remained the same: to help educators explore new ideas and adopt promising and evidence-based strategies and programs in order to enhance the well being and the academic achievement of the youth they serve.

To achieve this aim, OPSR's curricula concentrate on imparting the knowledge and skills educators most need to positively impact the young people they mentor and to deter unproductive and unhealthy behaviors in all student settings-at home, at school, at play.

Why you should attend:
-Earn Continuing Education Credits, Professional Development Credit Hours
-Interact and Network with Peers
-Consult with Expert Faculty
-Receive Constructive Feedback on Previously and Newly Developed Skills
-Enhance Personal and Professional Interpersonal Skills
