Yoga
at Noon
Please
join us on Wednesdays for
yoga in the Himalayan Tradition in the
Rosemary Gellene Room, MSB B-515, 12:00 – 1:00 PM.*
New
and returning students always welcome!
- Breathing practices that calm the mind
and relax or energize the body
- Postures and stretches (Asanas) that
promote strength and flexibility
- Progressive relaxation to rest the
body and mind
- Meditation that quiets and clarifies
the mind
Wear
stretchy or loose clothing. Yoga mats (supplied by the Cross
Cultural Integrative Medicine Group) and rugs are available,
or you may bring your own.
These
gentle, yet powerful, practices can help you deal more effectively
with stress and live a healthier and happier life. Why not
give it a try?

by experienced Himalayan Yoga Instructor, Susan Gould Fogerite,
PhD, Director of Research, ICAM
All
Are Welcome Anytime
$1 per class fee is requested to help defray costs and purchase
additional yoga equipment.

weeks the Gellene Room may not be available on Wednesdays.

Mission |
ICAM serves as a focal point for complementary & alternative
medicine (CAM) within UMDNJ and beyond. Its mission
is threefold:
EDUCATION: To be an educational
resource on CAM, and to develop evidenced-based integrative
curricula and educational programs.
RESEARCH: To facilitate, conduct
and obtain support for high quality basic and clinical
research in CAM.
CLINICAL: To support the integration
of evidence-based CAM therapies and medicine into clinical
settings.
