PURPOSE:   To set policy regarding the terms and conditions of employment for staff members not covered by a collective bargaining  unit.

RESPONSIBILITY: The Vice President for Human Resources is to ensure compliance with this policy.

POLICY:

Staff members serve at the will and pleasure of the University and his/her employment at the University may be terminated at any time with or without good reason. The Vice President of Human Resources or designee must be consulted prior to the dismissal of a staff member.

Exempt staff members are required to work whatever hours are necessary to complete their assignments and responsibilities but are required to work a minimum of 37 1/2 hours each week.
