As you are undoubtedly aware from recent media reports and the University website, UMDNJ will be working under the monitoring of Judge Herbert J. Stern and his associates and colleagues, a federally-appointed Monitor, as mandated by our agreement with the United States Attorney.

Additionally, per the terms of the Deferred Prosecution Agreement, UMDNJ
has established a secure email and telephone hotline which anyone may use
to direct any information which he or she reasonably believes may be useful
to the Monitor's attention.

Federal Monitor Hotline

The MONITOR has established a secure email and telephone hotline which
anyone may use to direct any information which he or she reasonably believes
may be useful to the Monitor's attention. All hotline emails and telephone
calls go directly to the Monitor. No personnel at UMDNJ will have any access
to the secure email or telephone hotline. The identity of those reporting
information will be kept confidential and there will be no repercussions for
attempts to assist the Monitor with his investigative work. Email and
telephone access to the hotlines is maintained off of UMDNJ grounds.

The Message on the hotline requests your name and contact information so
that the Monitor's counsel may contact you to receive a further explanation
for more complex issues. However, you are not required to leave your name
and contact information.
