UMDNJ and Johnson & Johnson Invite the Community to a Diabetes Awareness
Day Event
This free event is being sponsored during National Minority Health Month
Health professionals at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) will host a Diabetes Awareness Day on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Eric B. Chandler Health Center, 277 George Street, New Brunswick.
The event is being hosted by UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Johnson & Johnson's Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Achievement (HOLA).
Local residents attending this event will have an opportunity to visit health stations for various screenings including blood pressure and body mass index (BMI). Fitness demonstrations, nutrition and healthy lifestyle tips, raffles, gift giveaways, music and food will also be offered.
