Neurobiology of Disease (NEUR N5040)

To provide an overview of the neurobiological basis of selected medical disorders. The students will acquire an understanding of the most current research on mechanisms and treatments. In addition, they will critically evaluate research in the particular areas. The course will meet 15 sessions, 3 hours each. Classes will consist of lectures by the instructors and student presentations on topics related to the lecture themes.
