Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences

The goal of the program is to offer graduate, medical and dental courses to students who want to:

  • Improve their academic records so that they can become more competitive in applications to M.D., D.O., DDS or DVM programs.

  • Become science educators in public schools or at the community college level.

  • Apply for positions as researchers in the pharmaceutical industry.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:

Applicants are evaluated on the basis of their undergraduate academic record, recommendations from two individuals knowledgeable of the student's academic potential, and scores on the GRE, MCAT or DAT. Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree and should have taken course work that demonstrates a good foundation in biology, general and organic chemistry, and physics.
