Guidelines for Initiating a School-Based DOT Program
These guidelines provide direction to a health department for implementing school-based DOT for TB infection and disease. It outlines the advantages of school-based DOT, procedure for setting up a DOT program, follow-up with school nurses, planning for DOT outside of school and continuing a collaborative relationship between schools and TB programs.
