Course Description
This is an intensive one-day conference consisting of new research and diagnostics, case studies and clinical discussions.

Target Audience
TB providers and consultants

Objectives

At the conclusion of the program, the participant should be able to:

  • Explain the public health challenges posed the by the non-adherent patient and/or MDR or XDR-TB
  • Explain the latest research findings from the TB clinical trials
  • Explain the challenges of diagnosing active TB disease
  • Explain the latest research in diagnosing latent TB infection
  • Explain the connection between leprosy and a positive MTD tests
