The management of patients infected with M. tuberculosis in the presence of an immunocompromising condition can be complicated and challenging. This web-based seminar, will specifically cover the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients who are taking TNF-alpha inhibitors. The seminar will consist of an overview of the mechanisms of action of anti-tumor necrosis factor agents and the clinical management of patients who are also infected with TB. Case presentations will be included along with time for discussion.
