The FXB Center, School of Nursing, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, reaches across traditional boundaries to link research and practice through education. The Center provides clinical care, education, and technical assistance in the United States and globally to support capacity building to address the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The FXB Center receives public and private funding from diverse sources including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau (HRSA HAB), the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services, the New Jersey Department of Human Services, the Division of Youth & Family Services (DYFS), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
