International Maternal, Pediatric, Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT)

Since 2003, the FXB Center has provided education and training for international sites associated with the International Maternal, Pediatric and Adolescent Clinical Trials group (IMPAACT), formerly Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group (PACTG). The FXB-IMPAACT collaboration increases capacity for clinical trials in low-resource settings through a program of clinical education, leadership development, and clinical trial training for nurses, community educators, community advisory board members and others. To date, there are IMPAACT clinical trial sites in Thailand, South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Brazil, and India.
