In addition to medical, laser, and surgical treatments for glaucoma, this service has expertise in treating cases that require surgery to correct the outcome of a first unsuccessful operation. The Glaucoma Diagnostic Laboratory provides state-of- the-art diagnostic services on a referral basis. Current research efforts are aimed at developing new techniques for the treatment and control of this chronic condition. With a scanning laser polarimeter, scanning laser topography unit, and a simultaneous stereo camera, we have full capabilities to investigate optic nerve and macular disease.
