Among the questions addressed within the overall theme of cancer clinical trials were:

Do you know what clinical trials are?
Do you know that participants in clinical treatment trials should always be getting the current best known therapy or a proposed new treatment?

Do you know anyone who is afraid of participating in a research trial?
Participants in clinical trials are strictly protected! We will be explaining how.

It’s important that people of all backgrounds be represented in clinical trials —
     Are people of your background represented?
     If not, what can you do to help?

Learn the answers to these questions from local experts, and find out what cancer clinical trials are available in the area, plus

• Why clinical trials are essential to everyone's health,
• Why you or anyone you know with cancer or other serious illnesses should consider participating in clinical trials.
