Welcome to the annual on-line clinical health-and-safety training module for SOM clinical faculty and staff. This module is comprised of 5 sections and contains a total of 45 questions in a multiple choice format. Each section contains one or more pages covering the following topics: Respiratory Hygiene/Standard Precautions; Airborne Pathogens: M. Tuberculosis; Bloodborne and Other Pathogens; Fire Safety, and Hazard Communication/Right-to-Know.
Successful completion of this training module is accomplished by answering all questions in the module correctly and completing the training documentation form at the end. There is no quiz.
An alternative to this online module, classroom-style training is also available for persons who prefer this format. Classroom- style training sessions for entire departments can be scheduled by contacting EOHSS at x6-6189.
