Welcome to the
OnlineTraining Module for SOM administrative personnel working in clinical areas.
Topics covered include Respiratory Hygiene, Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness and Fire Safety. It is designed for administrative personnel
who work in clinical areas but who are not expected to have exposure to human specimens or
body fluids as part of their job duties (e.g., Social Workers and
front-line reception staff). Administrative personnel who do handle patient
specimens must complete Clinical
Safety Training annually. Completion of
training for administrative personnel working in clinical areas is required every
other year at a minimum.
An alternative to this online module, classroom-style training is also available for persons who prefer this format. Classroom- style training sessions for entire departments can be scheduled by contacting EOHSS at 856-566-6189 or 6-6189. A schedule of the classroom training sessions can be found on the SOM clinical training page.
This training is presented as a series of 3
