About EOHSS
Environmental & Occupational Health & Safety Services is a service-oriented department of the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). It was established to assist the University in providing a healthy and safe working and learning environment.
About the Module
The OSHA Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910. 134 requires annual respiratory protection training for persons who may need to wear a respirator for protection against occupational exposure to tuberculosis, 2009 novel H1N1 flu, or other airborne infectious agents.
Completion of the module, as well as the hands-on-training provided during fit-testing, will satisfy the annual training requirement.
If you have any problems accessing the module or the training documenation form at the end, please contact eohsshelp@umdnj.edu or contact your Campus EOHSS Office at the number listed at the bottom of this page.
If you have urgent questions about respiratory protection during non-business hours, please have UMDNJ Public Safety contact EOHSS.
