HAZARDOUS (CHEMICAL) WASTE LABELS
Hazardous waste labels, pre-printed on crack-and-peel paper, can be obtained from EOHSS by emailing Kyle San Giovanni (sangiova@umdnj.edu) or by requesting them during a hazardous (chemical) waste pick-up in your laboratory. Alternatively, the labels listed below can be filled-in online and then printed onto crack-and-peel paper. Use Avery 5165 "Pull Sheet Labels," which is available from General Stores. Don't forget to circle the hazard class.
The following labels can be completed online:
1line label
3 line label
5 line label
8 line label
12 line label
Instructions for completing UMDNJ Hazardous Waste labels are listed below. If you will be doing a clean-out of many chemicals in their original containers you may be able to use Cleanout Chemical Labels. Contact Kyle San Giovanni to make sure that you can use them instead of the regular Hazardous Waste Labels.
