UMDNJ recognizes its responsibility to protect the
environment. As part of its effort to fulfill this responsibility,
the University disposes of hazardous (chemical) and regulated medical waste through
licensed vendors. EOHSS provides technical assistance
and training to individuals and departments generating
hazardous chemical waste, ensuring compliance with rules
and regulations governing use of chemicals and hazardous waste management.
