The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Services provides leadership and strategic vision to promote a University culture of health and safety excellence and environmental stewardship.Our experienced, professional staff monitors compliance with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations and serve as a resource for the University community.
In addition to our traditional health, safety and chemical waste management functions, EOHSS has also been given a new challenge and expanded role in emergency operations planning as part of the UMDNJ Office of Emergency Management and Occupational Health and Safety (EMOHS).
