The security management program supports the policy of the University Hospital and the University to provide a safe environment for its patients, staff, and visitors. All staff are encouraged to report any situations of a suspicious nature to Public Safety. Issuance of keys for access to interior doors throughout University Hospital is strictly enforced. The Executive Director of Hospital Support Services must sign all key requests for University Hospital before keys can be issued by the Department of Public Safety. All staff members must wear their badges AT ALL TIMES while working in University Hospital. Public Safety operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be reached at the following numbers:
