May 2, 2011: 13th Annual New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Conference:
L-363 Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Higher Education (Teaser Course) - FEMA's Emergency Management Institute developed the 3-day (24 hours) L-363 Multi-Hazard Emergency Planning for Higher Education course to fill a large gap in emergency preparedness for colleges/universities. This "teaser" course takes relevant and salient points from the full course and condenses them into 4 hours; it is intended to give participants an understanding and appreciation for emergency planning on campuses, and "wets the appetite" for attendees to take the full course. This "teaser" and the full course are directed at all members of the campus emergency planning team, not just EMs and public safety/police; local responders are also encouraged to attend. Prerequisite: None
