NJ Department of Environmental Protection: Solutions to Stormwater Pollution - Under the requirements of the University’s Public Complex Stormwater Permit with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJ DEP), UMDNJ must provide educational information on stormwater pollution prevention as part of an annual education program.  Please review the informational pamphlet on how to do your part to protect our precious water supply. December 16th, 2011: U.S. Chemical Safety Board - The U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) today released a new video on the potential hazards associated with conducting research at chemical laboratories in academic institutions.  Entitled  "Experimenting with Danger" the video notes that the CSB  has collected preliminary data on 120 explosions, fires, and chemical releases at university laboratories and other research facilities that occurred around the country since 2001, causing deaths, serious injuries, and extensive property damage.  http://www.csb.gov/videoroom/detail.aspx?VID=61

OSHA Respiratory Protection Videos - OSHA has posted a series of 17 videos to help workers learn about the proper use of respirators on the job. These short videos are on topics that include OSHA's Respiratory Standard, respirator use, training, fit-testing, and detecting counterfeit respirators.
