Vaccination Schedule

Newark/Scotch Plains - Employees

The NJMS Occupational Medicine Service (OMS) will be providing seasonal flu vaccinations on:

  • Weekdays from 7:30am to 4:00pm in the Stanley S. Bergen Building (SSB), Suite GA-167 (all employees)
  • Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 11:00am in the UH Cafeteria, through November 24 (all employees)
  • September 22 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in MSB Room C-680 (NJMS employees)
  • September 29 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in the ICPH First Floor Training Room
  • October 6 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in BHSB Room D-1434 (UBHC employees)
  • October 13 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in NJDS D-986 (NJDS employees)
  • October 20 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on the Scotch Plains Campus (SHRP employees)
  • October 27 from 1:30pm to 3:15pm in ADMC Building 5 (Public Safety employees)
  • October 29 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in UH Room D-215A (UH employees)
  • November 3 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm in ACC Room E-1635

For UH employees,
Flu Champions are available to vaccinate fellow employees. The Flu Champion Program is a new and highly innovative initiative designed to dramatically improve the number of flu vaccinations given to the staff of University Hospital. The program, which went into effect on Wednesday, September 16th, is a tremendous help to staff who can't leave the nursing units to get vaccinated due to time constraints or other obligations. Flu Champions are nurses who are authorized to provide flu vaccinations to fellow employees directly on the nursing unit. Those most likely to take advantage of this program include staff from Patient Care Service, Patient Transport, Housekeeping, Food and Nutrition and anyone else who works directly on a nursing unit. Flu Champions are authorized to vaccinate UH employees only. Employees must show their ID badge and complete and submit a Flu Consent Form prior to getting vaccinated. Staff are also provided with a CDC Information Statement. This program is particularly important this year since we have two vaccines to dispense - the seasonal flu and the H1N1. The Flu Champion Program is a joint venture between the Nursing Department, Infection Control, Occupational Medicine Services and the Pharmacy.

The Newark Student Health Service flu clinics for seasonal flu vaccine will be on:

  • September 16, for NJMS Class of 2011, 12:00pm to 1:00pm, MSB Grand Foyer
  • September 17, for SN, 11:30am to 12:30pm, location TBA
  • September 18, for NJMS Classes of 2012 and 2013, 11:00am to 1:00pm, MSB Grand Foyer
  • September 21, for NJMS Class of 2010, 11:15am to 12:30pm, MSB Grand Foyer
  • September 22, for NJDS, 12:00pm to 2:00pm, NJDS Student Lounge
  • September 23, for NJMS Classes of 2010 and 2011, 12:00pm to 1:00pm, MSB Grand Foyer
  • September 23, for SHRP, 1:00pm to 3:00pm, location TBA
  • September 25, for NJMS Classes of 2010 and 2011, 10:30am to 11:30am, MSB Grand Foyer

The RWJMS Employee Health Services is offering the seasonal flu vaccine to all employees on:

  • September 18 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm (Health Care Workers only) at the Clinical Research Center (3rd Floor Room 159) in New Brunswick
  • September 25 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the EOHSI Clinic in Piscataway
  • September 28 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Clinical Research Center (3rd Floor Room 159) in New Brunswick
  • October 2 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the EOHSI Clinic in Piscataway
  • October 5 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Clinical Research Center (3rd Floor Room 159) in New Brunswick
  • October 9 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the EOHSI Clinic in Piscataway
  • October 12 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Clinical Research Center (3rd Floor Room 159) in New Brunswick

Piscataway/New Brunswick - Students

The RWJMS Student Health Services will be providing seasonal flu vaccinations on:

  • September 16, for the Class of 2011, at the Atrium from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, as well as during and after the EKG reading workshop
  • September 17, for the Class of 2013, outside the Main Auditorium in Piscataway, after Biochemistry exam (SHS will be there from 10:30am to 1:00pm)
  • September 25, for the Class of 2012, in the Old student Lounge in Piscataway, after the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine exam (SHS will be there from 10:30am to 1:00pm)

* Note: The Class of 2010 is welcome to come to any of the above; members can also go to Family Medicine at Monument Square, or Employee Health in Piscataway

Camden/Stratford - Employees
Stratford - Students

The SOM Employee/Student Health Services schedule is:

  • Mondays, from 9:00am to 4:30pm
