The
Department of Urban and Community Development is an active
participant in a number of programs and events sponsored by
UMDNJ and community–based organizations. Visit our News

In
2002, the department partnered with the CHEN Institutions
as a co-host of a Lunchtime
Jazz in the Garden‚
held at The Newark Museum; the University's 2002
Black Heritage Day Program, the First
Annual Summit on the Development of University/Business Partnerships‚
and a press event announcing a
a federal grant for the Institute for the Elimination of Health
Disparities. Other
