Our
Communication Center is the place for you to regularly visit
our site to contact us regarding health and education topics
of interest, to participate in surveys‚ post a message‚
seek program assistance‚ to participate in a UMDNJ health
initiative or to complete the UMDNJ Community Program
Inventory.
We
welcome you to access our website to access information about
the many programs at UMDNJ for community participation. In
order for us to keep you informed about a range of programs
and services available to the statewide communities served
through the University, please complete our online form by

you may join us at special events and forums that we believe
will interest you.
UMDNJ
COMMUNITY PROGRAM INVENTORY
As
part of the our commitment to improving the health of those
within our institution in the communities in which we serve,
the Department of Urban and Community Development is developing
a comprehensive inventory of all community programs, activities
and initiatives aimed at health promotion, disease prevention,
education, neighborhood development and economic empowerment.
Your
assistance in providing information about programs sponsored
or initiated by UMDNJ, its faculty, students and staff, will
be helpful in demonstrating the depth and strength of the
University's impact in communities around the state. The Community
Program Inventory is to be completed by internal audiences
only. Results of this online resource will also serve to foster
the creation of new partnerships and the sharing of successful
ideas.
On
an ongoing basis, the Community Program Inventory will include
all regularly-scheduled community level programs and services
that provide health care, health promotion and disease prevention
services offered by UMDNJ, its schools, departments and units.
For purposes of compiling an accurate listing of community
programs, any activities or projects that are one-time or
occasional events will be excluded.

Inventory form, please complete the form in its entirety
by providing information for any community programs and/or
activities that:
- responds
to unsatisifed community needs
- continues
over an extended time period
- has
staff and/or are supported by annual budgets
- produces
quantitative data on numbers of inidividuals that benefit
from the community program or activity.
- are
volunteer programs or activities that are part of a larger
community effort.
All
responses to the Community Program Inventory from the various
units of the University, will be used to develop a report
that can be widely distributed to organizations whose interests
focus on the University's service to the community. Please
