Compliance Program Manual

The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) is proud of its long tradition of ethical and responsible conduct. Each employee of UMDNJ is expected to adhere to this high standard whenever he or she acts on behalf of UMDNJ, whether in dealings with other employees, with patients and their families, with vendors, with government regulators or with the general public.

Violations of legal or ethical requirements jeopardize the welfare of UMDNJ, its employees and patients, and the communities it serves.

The Compliance Program is intended to define and govern the conduct expected of employees, to provide guidance on how to resolve questions regarding legal and ethical issues, and to establish a mechanism for the reporting of possible violations of law or ethical practices within UMDNJ.
