|
these campuses. Scotch Plains will not reopen at that time.
Please note: if certain environmental conditions and services throughout the State do not improve as fast as we anticipate, we may not be able to resume all academic programs on Monday. We will make a decision over the weekend for Monday and post that decision as an update by Sunday.
Also, the following buildings will not reopen Monday: Liberty Plaza, New Brunswick, and 1 Worlds Fair Drive, Somerset.
Everyone is reminded that daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday and to set your clocks/watches back one hour accordingly.
We continue to encourage people to carpool or use public transportation on Monday because of the gas crisis. By Executive Order, Gov. Christie has implemented gas rationing as of today (Nov. 3) -- on the basis of odd-even days -- in the following counties: Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Monmouth, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren. If the last number on your license plate is odd, then you can purchase gas in those counties on odd numbered days of the month. If the last number on your license plate is even, you can purchase gas in those counties on even numbered days. License plates without numbers will be deemed as odd numbered under this order. For additional information about this order, check http://nj.gov/infobank/circular/eocc108.pdf
