Mammography In Motion Screening Schedule

The UMDNJ - New Jersey Medical School Department of Medicine has been awarded a grant by the State of New Jersey Health Department to offer cancer education and screening to women and men in Essex County who meet the following eligibility criteria:

Females:
• Age 40 Years
• Age < 40 with Strong Family History
• Reside in Essex County
• Have Limited or no Health Insurance
• Low Income < $20,000 per person

Cancer Screenings:
• Breast - Clinical Breast Exam
                Mammogram
• Colon - Occult Blood
• Cervical - PAP Smear
   

Males:
• Same Criteria as Above


• Breast - If Symptoms Present
• Prostate
• Colon
   

Health Teaching:
• Breast Self-Examination
• Prevention Education

Services:
• Annual Screenings
• Examinations Done on Site in Privacy
• Mammography in Motion - Radiology Van
• Site Visit Attendance 20-25 People
   

Venues:
Churches, Senior Centers, Apartment Buildings, Recreation Centers, Health Centers, etc.
