Diving into the Gene Pool Based on a 1995 exhibit at the Exploratorium, includes brief descriptions of the exhibits, a glossary and pointers to genetics web sites.
Gene Almanac (Dolan DNA Learning Center) Includes a variety of instructional materials and information on educational programs offered by Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory for both students and teachers.
Genetics Education Center (University of Kansas Medical Center) Covers the Human Genome Project, careers in genetics, and offers a wide variety of links to other resources, including lesson plans.
Hello Dolly: A WebQuest A nicely done activity on cloning.  Encourages students to ask their own questions to answer "what government policy should be established to regulate cloning?"
High School Human Genome Program Supports a professional development program offered for  high school teachers at the University of Washington Genome Center.  Includes sutdent activities, teacher resources, and annotated links to additional sites.
Human Genome Project Information Provides a wealth of education resources, some specially selected for students, as well as Links to the Genetic World.
Learn.Genetics (University of Utah Genetic Science Learning Center) A treasure house of information for teachers, students, and families.
MendelWeb Includes texts, illustrations, bibliographies, and links to further resources; also useful for German students, who can read Mendel's paper in German.
The National Human Genome Research Institute The Institute provides lots of information for both educators and students.
A New Gene Map of the Human Genome Features information on genetic diseases by chromosome. Includes links to additional resources, including its somewhat simpler 1996 version, A Gene Map of the Human Genome.
NIH Office of Science Education Includes many genetics learning resources for both students and teachers.
A Revolution in Progress: Human Genetics and Medical Research An online exhibit.  Includes basics of genetics, genetic diseases, gene therapy, ethics, and more.  There is also a "Cartoon Guide to Genetics" for kids.
A Science Odyssey: You Try It: DNA Workshop From the PBS series "A Science Odyssey."  An activity (Shockwave and text versions) on DNA replication and protein synthesis.  Includes supporting information and related "People and Discoveries."
ThinkQuest Library - Life Science Nicely annotated links to a variety of genetics sites authored by students.  Several sub-topics including cells, evolution, and genetics.
