On September 6, 1997 there will be a health fair at the Forrest Hill Family Health Associates, P.A. located at 465 Mt. Prospect Avenue in Newark NJ. All Medical, Dental and School of Health Related Professions students are invited and encouraged to attend. The fair will be held on the clinic grounds beginning at 10:00 am until 4:00 PM. Students should be prepared to commit to one session (morning or afternoon) and they can work in any area/booth.
The objective of the fair is to heighten the awareness of the local community to good health practices. There will be screening for cholesterol, blood pressure, H. Pylori, breast screening, diabetes and much more. Representatives from various pharmaceutical companies will be on hand to answer questions and promote their products.
This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to gain exposure to part of the Newark community which is serviced by UMDNJ. Our members and guests have found this clinical experience rewarding an pleasurable in the past. We encourage all of you to attend and participate.
