Introduction

 UMDNJ is a complex institution in size and function, comprised of multiple distinct academic and clinical units with distinctive faculty, staff and students. In totality, the University trains more than 5500 future health professionals across eight professional schools on multiple campuses throughout New Jersey.   The UMDNJ Student Senate was formed in 2009 by student leaders at each of UMDNJ’s eight schools and with the strong support of the University’s President and Provost to represent these students at the highest levels of University administration.
