Presents Annual Service Awards To 119 Employees
With 25-Plus Years Experience
One-hundred-nineteen
employees who have worked for the University of Medicine and Dentistry
of New Jersey (UMDNJ) for 25 or more years were honored at a recent
employee recognition ceremony.
The annual ceremony,
hosted by the UMDNJ Department of Human Resources on June 14, is
designed to express appreciation for service to the University.
The presentations were made by Allen C. Abramson, UMDNJ vice president-human
resources.
Dr. Stuart D. Cook,
UMDNJ president, addressed the honorees. The keynote remarks were
made by Sidney Mitchell, president of UMDNJ-University Hospital
in Newark.

UMDNJ comprises New
Jersey's only three medical schools, the state's only dental school,
a nursing school, a graduate school of biomedical sciences, a school
of health related professions and a school of public health on campuses
in Newark, Piscataway/New Brunswick, Camden, Stratford and Scotch
Plains. UMDNJ also operates University Hospital, Newark, and University
Behavioral HealthCare. It is affiliated with more than 200 health
care and educational institutions throughout the state.
